We are Chris + Carly, the duo behind Krieb Studio.

Our work is rooted in editorial portraiture, and captures the tension between polished luxury and spontaneity, fitting perfectly between those perfectly messy moments.

Drawing influence from the “anti-fashion” photographers of the 90’s , we create images that feel lived-in, but deliberate.

Whether we’re photographing weddings & events or capturing editorial brand stories, our focus is always on making images that are polished, honest, and full of life.

  • Founder, Creative Director + Lead Photographer

    My background in fashion photography, and years spent documenting my travels with friends, taught me how to frame energy, style, and emotion with precision. And my instinct as a storyteller ensures that every frame is rooted in truth.

    I live by the ethos: You can’t kill classic. Which means that no matter what project we’re working on together, my approach remains the same: Classically Elegant with a dash of Timeless Imperfection.

    With a career background in the restaurant industry, I've spent nearly 2 decades discovering how honest-to-goodness hospitality & attention to detail go beyond the dining room and impact every aspect of our professional and personal lives. I approach creative projects the way I approached dinner service: with deep care, consideration, organization, and a focus on creating unforgettable experiences. Whether it's your wedding day, an on-set editorial shoot, or bringing your branding vision to life, I strive for every shoot to feel polished, yet personal.

    I double as our studio's Movement Director, which is a fancy way of saying I use my lifetime of dance training to guide our clients into poses that feel natural, not forced, so you can not only look your best, but also feel true to yourself in front of the camera. Think of me as part concierge, part choreographer, and full on behind-the-scenes ringmaster.
